Approximately 20 hours of coursework can be completed at a go-at-your-own pace prior to taking the certifying exam.
Pass the exam and receive a certification mark that will show both current and future clients that your practice goes beyond analyzing the market and making recommendations. Annual continuing education requirements for certification renewal provides further opportunities to show your commitment to the wellness of your clients.
An individual certification costs $2,495. A group program (2-20 certifications) costs $2,245 per person. An enterprise program (21+ certifications) costs $1,945 per person. The annual renewal fee is $495 for individuals and less for groups and enterprises.
The National Wellness Institute (NWI) has partnered with the Foundation for Financial Wellness to develop courses that look at financial wellness through the lens of NWI’s Six Dimensions of Wellness model.
A Financial Wellness Facilitator is typically someone who is interested in deepening his/her knowledge about the financial wellness industry and would like the opportunity to facilitate learning opportunities at their own workplace or at other organizations.
