Many employees many not recognize the degree to which their lack of financial well-being is contributing to their struggles. It’s our goal to educate using techniques that foster behavior change, and give them real-world tools to take control of their finances. We do so in a non-solicitous, friendly manner that is accessible to all employees.
Topics we cover include:
We Start With the Basics
… then move to more advanced topics from there. Our classes are designed to ensure employees don’t feel “in over their heads or overwhelmed”.
What Employees Are Saying…
I have been trying to get my credit card and other debts down for the past year and a half, since I graduated from college, but have just been frustrated and felt that nothing was going to work for me.
[Using the] worksheet from class I am able to see a difference in the way I keep track of and pay my credit cards. I think that I can get this under control and change the way I deal with debt. I am very proud of myself already, as I have accrued no new debt, and I have started a cash envelope. The system is something I can believe in and thanks to you, I can understand. … Thanks again! You have changed my life.

Behavior change and improvements in financial wellness dramatically increase when students have access to their Certified Wellness Counselor (CFWC®) in a private Q & A session. We make sure that all attendees have access to one-on-one consultation with their counselor. This enables each individual to address specific issues, discuss strategies, and obtain personal consultation. There is no requirement for one-on-one sessions. The on-on-one is included in the classes, and our experience shows that a high percentage of employees choose to take advantage of the opportunity.
